🔧 What You Need to Start

Before we dive into setup, here’s what you’ll need:

✅ 1. A Copy of GTA V

You must own a legal copy of GTA V — Steam, Epic Games, or Rockstar versions all work.

✅ 2. A Decent Server or PC

You can host locally to test, or get a VPS/Dedicated Server for 24/7 uptime.

Minimum Specs (Local Test Server):

  • Windows 10/11 or Linux (Ubuntu preferred)

  • 8 GB RAM

  • Quad-core CPU

  • Stable internet

Recommended for Public Hosting:

  • Windows Server or Linux VPS

  • 16 GB RAM+

  • SSD storage

  • Root access and open ports

Step-by-Step: Setting Up the Server

Go to the FiveM artifacts page and download the latest recommended build for your OS.

- Create a folder that says Artifacts and drag and drop the full file into the folder.

Download a framework base (QBCore repo or ESX base pack) and install it in your resources folder. Add it to server.cfg.
